Privacy Policy  

We take your privacy and protection seriously.  We never sell your name or personal information.   That information will only be supplied to our suppliers, shippers and agents directly involved in getting your order processed efficiently and properly.   We never give your credit card information to anyone.  Please know that we use SSL technology at the Highest levels and all internet credit card processing and credit card shopping carts are CSI Compliant.   You may click HERE to view our Privacy Policy.

Prices effective May 25, 2017.   Prices are subject to change without notice.   All prices are in U.S. dollars.   Seller is not responsible for consequential damages.  Returns require advance approval number and may be subject to a 15% restocking charge.

Shipping Policy

We ship to you at your job site or home.  We strive to ship orders within 24 business hours of approval for Perma Chink products.

FREE SHIPPING - We offer FREE SHIPPING on retail Perma Chink orders o f 500lbs or more within the contiguous 48 U.S. states (excluding blasting media such as New Age or Black Beauty or Corn Cob Grit or other blasting media we offer, excluding Chink Pumps, Blaster Buddy and rental items.) 

Please allow up to 7 days for delivery on Free Freight or for faster delivery you may pay regular shipping rates.  

FREE SHIPPING on select 5 gallon and select 30 oz case products to the contiguous 48 United States.   

SHIPPING ON BLASTING MEDIA AND RENTAL ITEMS AND HEAVY EQUIPMENT:

Shipping for Blasting media, heavy equipment and rental items will be handled separately.  There are no guarantees of arrival time when shipping by freight.  Shipping by freight will be quoted on an individual basis and we work with the freight carriers to ensure competitive pricing for you and timely delivery of your products.  Due to the wide variance in shipping quotes from carrier to carrier and uncontrolled freight delivery and pick up schedules, since the carriers and drivers and seasons determine the lanes and their availability to ship or deliver in a timely manner we are unable to guarantee shipping arrival times.  We will do our best to work with the carriers for the best delivery option available based on any embargo’s or seasonal issues or other unforeseen issues which are out of our control.   

If you order Glass media or Crushed Corn Cob grit media there are no guarantees of delivery times.   Should you cancel an order for media once the order has been picked up by the shipper than there will be no refunds of product costs or shipping costs for any reason at any time.   Any order that qualifies for a refund of shipping will be subject to a 25% charge of the shipping fee if the order is paid by credit card.  This charge is to offset our credit card processing fees.  

Delivery time 

Delivery time varies from one location to the next but usually arrives within 1-7 business days and usually sooner unless you a re in a remote part of the country with limited delivery schedules by UPS and the freight companies and then the delay is usually only 1-2 additional business days.  Please plan your project and ordering schedule to allow for delays if they should happen once your order is shipped.

We can ship UPS 2nd day Air or UPS Next Day Air and while these packages typically arrive as scheduled we cannot guarantee them.

Substantial FREIGHT discounts may occur on shipments weighing 200 pounds or more.

Shipping damage:  Please notify us immediately if there is any shipping damage on your order.   You can call us at 336-325-9986 or email us at loghomes@tcia.net along with photos if possible.   Please notify us immediately, preferably within a day or two of shipment mishaps, as there is a 14 day claim limit on damage merchandise or shipping errors (wrong items or short shipments.)

Shipment of Replacement Items

We take every effort to minimize delays in replacing your products if they should arrive damaged or there is a shipping error.  If an item needs to be replaced we will ship it using the same method as the original order.   If UPS ground, Air, or 2nd Day Air were used originally then your replacement products will be shipped the same way.

Refunds on Credit Card Orders:  The processing fees charged by the Credit Card Processing company will not be refunded as they do not refund the fees to us.  The average processing charge will be 3% fee of the total amount processed on your credit card account.  If your charge is $1,000.00 then there would be a $30 processing fee.  Fees vary depending upon the type of card used.  

Lost Orders

We make every effort to track all packages and minimize delays and replace packages lost in a timely manner.   If an order is lost and arrives after a replacement has been sent to you we ask that you refuse one order and the carrier will return it without any additional shipping charges to you.  If you accept both orders then you may be responsible for the return shipping.

Improper Item Ordered:

What happens if you accidentally order the wrong color for an item.   We will accept returns within 30 days of shipment, however your order may or may not be subject to a 15% restocking fee and you will be responsible for the return shipping charges.  

Refund of an improperly ordered item which originally qualified for FREE Shipping:  If an order was for a product that qualified for free freight or free shipping by UPS Ground you will be responsible for the return shipping and the original shipping charges which we paid will be deducted from the amount to be refunded to you. 

Replacement of an improperly ordered item which originally qualified for FREE Shipping:  If you decide to return an order due to your error or over ordering which qualified for Free Shipping originally and place another order for a product qualifying for FREE Shipping then you will be responsible for the return shipping charges of the items being returned and the original shipping charges which we were billed by the carrier.  

Example:  You purchase an item for $200 that qualified for Free Shipping and we pay the shipping of let’s say $20.  You then see that you ordered the wrong product (not our error) so you decide to return the product, You will have to pay for the shipping to return the product to us and reimburse us for the shipping we originally paid to get the product to you.  

We collected $200 from you then paid the shipper $20 and cleared $180 so your refund from us would be $180 (less any restocking fee which may apply.)  If we are still offering Free Shipping on your replacement items then you would still qualify for Free Shipping on replacements items but we can’t offer free shipping on an error which was not our fault.   

We also will prorate shipping charges on partial returns of large orders which qualified for Free Shipping when calculating refunds or replacements of partial Free Shippment orders due to your errors.
